Skilled Nursing
Home health nurses perform skilled nursing procedures and provide assessment, teaching, and evaluation that correlate with the patient's diagnosis, physician's plan of treatment, and patient and family needs. Patient's progress and significant findings are communicated regularly to the physician, patient, and family. Nurses use state-of-the-art technology to gather patient information, perform assessments and deliver care.
Home Health Aides
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, home health aides provide patients with personal care and Assisted Daily Living necessities.
Medical Social Services
Social Workers (MSW) help the patient and family adjust to physical, emotional, and social aspects of illness and educate them in locating additional resources available in the community to help them progress in the healing process.
Physical Therapy
Licensed physical therapists administer treatments to restore the highest possible levels of mobility, muscle control, and rehabilitation. Methods of self-improvement are also taught to the patient.
Occupational Therapy
Patients are taught to adjust physical capabilities to daily living activities by licensed occupational therapists. Equipment adapted to overcome disabilities is often utilized.
Speech Therapy
Certified speech pathologists provide therapy to overcome speech, language and auditory disorders. Family members are instructed on how to help the patient's progress.
Medical Supplies and Equipment
Medical supplies and durable medical equipment will be furnished to the patient in relation to the physician's orders and the patient's condition.
